♡ Love Letters 2018 Round-Up ♡

This year has been a wild ride and we are so happy that 2018 fed the conversation of diversity and creating space within the arts and music. Although there is still some way to go in terms of gender diversity within the music industry, we want to give a huge shoutout to any womxn/non-binary/queer person who took up space and used their voice to address issues within the music industry or even existed - working, creating, and performing.

We’ve taken our usual Monthly Grooves playlist, and filled it with 50 artists and tracks by our fave femme/non-binary artists from the year, creating our ultimate soundtrack of 2018.

Featuring The Breeders, Christine and The Queens, Kali Uchis, Boygenius, Dream Wife, Noname, Sakidasumi, Nilüfer Yanya, Julia Jacklin - our Issue 1 cover star, plus lots more. Listen to the playlist below and be sure to follow for monthly updates in the new year.

♡♡♡ And the biggest thank you again to everyone who joined us this year, from near or far. We appreciate all the support so much.

One of the biggest highlights of 2018 was launching Love Letters Zine with you all, coming out with our very first issue back in February.

The reception and support we received from Issue 1 was incredible and we cannot thank everyone enough who contributed, let us chat to them, bought a copy, shared it with friends, or came along to our launch party, or any zine fairs.

Since then we’ve launched our site, put on more gigs and events in both Perth and Glasgow, (half) moved to London, and started work on Issue 2.

We cannot wait to share with you all what we’ve been working on for 2019, and expect to hear a lot more from us as Pam makes her way over to London at the start of the year, we’ll be fully based in the capital together and ready for all the new adventures.

Catch you in 2019. xxx

Love Lola & Pam.
